Drop Off/Pick Up
Our services are one family at a time and by appointment only. We request that you drop off no more than 10 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment time. You will be given an estimated pick up time as well as a text up to 30 minutes before your pup is ready, ensuring that you will arrive in time for a prompt pick up. Late drop offs/pick ups will incur a fee and/or may prevent us from providing services for your pet.

Pricing
Our grooms are all inclusive- meaning that every groom includes a bath with skin and coat appropriate shampoo & conditioner, blow dry, brush out, nails(clipping and/or buffing), ears(cleaning and plucking if applicable), enzymatic teeth gel, desired hair cut or trimming, and dog appropriate snacks. Pricing will vary based on breed, coat type, size, age, extensiveness of haircut, and behavior/temperament. We are dedicated to transparent pricing: please reach out for estimates or questions.

How often should my pet be groomed?
Grooming frequency recommendations are going to depend on breed, coat type, desired haircut, lifestyle, and behavior. In general most breeds require grooming every 4-6 weeks and some can go as long as 8 weeks. If you have a dog with a more difficult coat type, skin issues, or you enjoy an extensive haircut we may even recommend every 2 weeks. We do not recommend over 10 weeks between appointments for any dog.

My dog is reactive or doesn’t do well around other dogs
Our grooms are one-on-one and by appointment only, so your dog will never be in contact with another dog and there will never be a dog from another family within eyesight of your dog.

My dog has behavioral or medical concerns
Here at As You Wish Canine we pride ourselves on being able to work with dogs that may be more sensitive to the grooming process and that need a little extra care. In cases of aggression or extreme sensitivity we will work closely with your trainer to develop a plan to help your dog succeed. We will also accommodate a variety of medical issues as long as your pet has been cleared for grooming by your veterinarian. Please contact us for more information if you have a dog with behavioral or medical concerns.

What type of products do you use?
The products that we use on your pets are the same ones that we use on ours. They are PH balanced for dogs, plant based, SLS and paraben free, and cruelty free. We also have fragrance free options available. We proudly wash our towels with fragrance free detergent and do not use residue leaving softeners.
