About the Stylist
Jessica grew up loving animals-especially dogs. Growing up she was part of her local FFA chapter and showed poultry, rabbits, and goats in local and state competitions. She was part of the state poultry judging team and is an American FFA Degree recipient. After high school Jessica moved to Colorado in hopes of becoming a veterinarian but along the way she fell in love with grooming and the everyday difference it makes in pets lives. Jessica has over 15 years of experience in the grooming industry and countless more years in the pet and animal industry. She is an active AKC Scent Work judge and frequently performs with her personal dogs in a variety of dog sports.
After having worked in many local dog grooming facilities Jessica found that she excelled in the grooming of large breeds and also those dogs that needed a little extra care due to their reactive nature or sensitivity towards grooming. She decided to enhance her continuing education and take the Fear-Free grooming course to focus largely on creating a calmer and more positive grooming environment and so As You Wish: A Compassionate Canine Experience, LLC was born. Jessica strives to enhance every dog’s grooming experience while building trust with fear free handling techniques in a calmer more relaxed environment.

Jessica is a Fear Free certified groomer meaning that she practices gentle handling, desensitization techniques, and promotes positive conditioned emotional responses towards grooming and handling.
